Career Transition Coaching for Women

Changing roles, fields, or environments, or coming back after a break. Decide from who you are, without losing yourself or burning out.

Maybe you want to change work, without knowing what the next thing could look like. Maybe you already know where you'd like to go, but something on the way keeps stopping you. Or you're somewhere in between, needing something to move, with nothing clear yet about what that something is. Either way, something in you is ready for change.

If you've held steady and performed for a long time, the cost of all that often becomes visible exactly when it's time to change. You look at what's next and realise that, more than anything, you need to listen to yourself. That isn't a lack of ambition; it's over-adapting, and it always catches up with you.

A career transition is the moment when the question is no longer only "what do I do next", but "how do I make this light and sustainable". In coaching, we look at what you want from work today, at your Shine Zone, and at what would make the whole thing feel right and genuinely exciting.

Together, we look at what you actually want, the options (including the ones you rule out for yourself), and the first steps that bring you closer to the change you need. It's an action-oriented partnership: you leave with your own answers, and with a next step that lets you shine on your terms

Note : I use "women" as shorthand for people socialised and treated as women. If this space speaks to you, you're welcome here.

Who career transition coaching is for

I work with capable, often very reliable women who have done what was needed for a long time, and who are now wondering whether they still want this.

This coaching is probably for you if:

  • You feel your current role no longer fits, and you're curious about what would suit you better

  • You're being offered a promotion, a new role, or a different sector, and something in you hesitates

  • You're ready to change profession and want momentum to prepare it properly

  • You're rebuilding confidence after a layoff, a burnout, or an experience that left a mark

  • You're coming back after a leave, maternity or illness, and you want to do it on your terms this time

  • You want to stop over-adapting at work, and find a mindset, conditions, and a pace that protect your energy

  • You're neurodivergent or highly sensitive, and you want to work with how you function so you can shine at work without burning out

A career transition isn't an isolated event. So we look at the whole picture: what's happening at work and alongside it, with particular care for your needs, especially if you're neurodivergent.

How we work together

You've probably been told to step out of your comfort zone. During a transition, that advice is especially costly. You decide well from inside your comfort zone, where you feel safe: when your nervous system is on alert, clarity drops, and you either freeze or scatter. Where that safety meets what you do best, without burning out, is your Shine Zone, and that's where you design what comes next.

So we start from what's true for you: your rhythm, your values, what energises you and what drains you. We write your user manual, then build your next step from it, rather than from what you're "supposed to do". That's what I call Inside-Out Design: instead of starting from someone else's template, we start from how you actually work, and design your next move from there.

  1. You learn to be on your own side. You name what matters, what empties you, and what the previous role cost you. The real constraint shows up here, and it's rarely the one you'd listed.

  2. You decide by your own criteria. We lay out the real options, including the ones you'd been ruling out. When a choice fits who you are, it doesn't cost you; it carries you.

  3. You turn it into a plan. What you do, how, in what order, and what you do when it pushes back.

This is neither a skills assessment nor a CV review. We look at what sits under the urge to change, under the fear, under the tiredness. And it's that groundwork that makes the concrete steps so much lighter afterwards.

How a coaching goes

Most clients choose a multi-session programme, and we meet every two to three weeks. Sessions last 60 or 90 minutes, online or in person in Stuttgart, in English or French.

The first sessions are about clarity: where you are, what you've already tried, what you want, and how you'll know you've found what fits. Then we move to decisions and first concrete steps, feeding your confidence and your momentum as we go. We work through questioning, but also through body-based and creative practices, because your body often knows before your head does.

This is neither a skills assessment nor career guidance: I won't tell you what to do with your life. It isn't therapy either: I don't diagnose, I don't treat. If your needs go beyond the scope of coaching, I'll tell you plainly and point you onward when I can.

I believe meaningful work doesn't have to be heavy work, and that we can take serious things seriously without taking ourselves seriously.

Who I am

I'm a certified professional coach, holder of a French RNCP level 6 state-recognised title, trained in the ICF ethical framework.

I've changed roles, professions, countries, and work environments more than once. I took a break, came back, then decided to start my own practice. I know the doubt that comes with these moments, and I also know what it's like when things start to shine again. More about me

Shall we talk?

Tell me about what you're going through and what you'd like to feel differently a few months from now. We can have a chat and see if it’s a good fit and how we can work together.

Then, we start with a 90-minute Lantern session to shed some light (yes, I know… but I love this light metaphor, bear with me) on your situation and your goals going forward.
